Lavana ThailamPost delivery I have developed a tummy and I am trying to reduce it now. That is when I came across the advertisement and bought Lavana Thailam. I tried this for 1 whole month and found no difference at all. I was totally dissapointed. However I just happened to realize that you will have to apply the thailam twice a day and that too for 3 moths to see the difference. I am going to give it another try. This time for whole 3 months and of course 2 times a day, 20 mins each time. I shall then consider myself more eligible to comment on the product. Meanwhile if any one of you all have tried it and have any comments please feel free to post.

I also want to try their Sumangali cream..Its not available widely. If any of you have tried, please let me know your feedback.

Cell Re-lift Eye Gel - Living Proof
I bought this just a couple of days back. This is one brand I have not tried at all (not that I have tried all of them..but yeah at least most of them). I am starting to love this for now. It doesn't promise much about the wrinkles, but I certainly notice the sensitive area under eyes getting hydrated. I use it like 4 to 5 times a day..just because I feel good. As soon as I apply the transparent gel, in just a few seconds it gets absorbed and I feel the difference. I'll keep you guys posted on how it does as the days pass by.

Tech Help

Windows password change/remove:

It was one hell of a day, when I was trying to get online for my work and could not start my comp. I know for sure I entered the right password but it still did not get through to the windows screen....I tried restarting it a few times...no go....however one of my friend came as my savior.....here is what I did as per his suggestion...

1. Insert windows CD. make sure you boot from CD. After the license agreement, choose R to repair.
2. After loading, scanning and copying the files..let the comp boot automatically.
3. While booting keep watching for a window that would say "installing devices". When this comes up press shift + F10.
4. A command prompt will pop up. Type NUSRMGR.CPL and enter. This will give you access to the user account window.
5. in this window you will have access to remove or change the password.

wow...with this I just removed the password and was able to successfully log in.

oh..by the way..let me tell you what the cause for this was...it was nothing but "torrents"...I had downloaded a lot of movies from bit torrent..it brought loads of virus into my sys....I have learnt my lesson...I still watch movies..but online..from the websites...:-)..

Skin Care/ Hair care/Cosmetics

Let me start with one of my favorite topic............I am sure all the gals out there will agree with me that there can not be anything better than discussing skin care, cosmetics and shopping.

Here are a few products I use and what I feel about it:

Noxzema Cleansing cream

This Procter and Gamble product comes in a 14oz blue jar. It is solid in texture. It is much like white soft snow. I love the way my skin feels (the coolness of camphor and menthol) after using the cream. If you have a good face wash, you might not even need a cleansing cream inmy opinion. However if you are a kind of person who would prefer using a cream..this is by far the simplest, and in my opinion the best.

Queen Helene Mint Julep MaskI have blackheads and whiteheads. After reading a few reviews on the product, I decided to try it. I have been using it for almost 3 months now. My pores seem to have reduced a bit. Also every time I use it, i feel my skin tightens. It smells like mint toothpaste. I like the product. Do not use it everyday, use it once or twice a week. I would definitely recommend the product.

elf Cucumber Melon Body ButterThis definitely serves the purpose. I apply it after taking a bath. It feels so smooth on my skin. My body is no more dry. I apply it everyday. The only con is though the fragrance is very light (which I like), elf could have chosen a different scent.

Ponds Age miracle Tinted Moisturizer

There are 2 types, Sheer Ivory and Honey. I personally din't find much of a difference between them. It does not moisturize my skin in anyway. Also to be honest..it has done NOTHING to reduce the signs of aging. I use it as foundation. It works great. I really like the product and will definitely buy again for the latter purpose. After applying it, my skin feels even. I apply compact over it.

Ponds Age Miracle Daily Resurfacing cream

Totally useless. Once you apply it you would like being painted white. If you miss rubbing it in a particular area, it would just form white flakes. I would never buy it again.

Lo real Paris White Perfect Deep whitening Eye cream
This has done wonders to my dark circles. I have had severe dark circles due to my constant night shift and stress. once I started using this, my dark circles has reduced by almost 80%. I would definitely recommend this product. Apply a decent amount every night and you will see the difference in not more than 10 days. Remember..area under the eye is very sensitive and needs to be touched carefully. When you apply the cream, make sure you don't apply much pressure, but just dab with your ring finger.

Parachute Night Repair Creme

It is only a few weeks I have started using this, I have no complaints yet. I love the color of the pack (silly isn't it), love the fragrance and most of all love the technique of "night repair". This suits so well for lazy bums like me, who has difficulty spending time in oiling hair. I just quickly massage the white cream into my scalp and wash it off the next day.

Hair & Care Silk -n Shine:
I have been using this for quite a while now. Though the product doesn't give the hair a lot of silk. shine & volume, it certainly makes the hair very soft.i love to touch my hair after it gets dried. It feels so soft. Apply some into the hair after washing. Comb through. Let it dry and touch you hair to feel the difference.

Reviews on products has helped me a lot in making many decisions in the past. May it be choosing an educational institution, buying a flat, buying cosmetics, the list goes on... I am sure many of us do that. That is why I thought I will keep posting reviews on the product I use...I hope this helps you.
